Meshploy is run by Meshploy, owned by Pritthish Nath, in India. For anything about your data, write to hello@meshploy.com.
The software collects nothing for us
Meshploy you install on your own servers has no telemetry. It sends us nothing about your installation, your apps or your users. An Enterprise licence is checked on the server itself, without contacting us.
Meshploy Cloud
Your account
Your name, email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself), whether two-factor sign-in is on, and your signed-in sessions with the time and device they were made from. We use them to let you sign in, keep your account safe, and send you the emails the service needs: sign-in links, verification, notices about your spaces, and receipts.
Your spaces and apps
The spaces you create, their settings, the apps you deploy, and the email addresses of the people you share apps with. The apps' own data stays on the servers that run them. We handle it only to run the service for you, and do not look at it except to keep the service working, to investigate abuse, or when the law requires it.
Payments
Payments are handled by our payment partner, which collects your billing details and card under its own privacy policy. We receive what we need to keep your plan right: your plan, the amounts, dates and billing country. We never see your full card number.
This website
The contact form
Your name, email address, company if you give it, the topic you choose and your message. We use them only to answer you and continue the conversation you started.
Visitor statistics
We count page views with Umami, an open-source analytics tool we run on our own server. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites, ignores browsers that ask not to be tracked, and does not record search terms. We see totals such as pages viewed, referring sites, countries and device types, not who you are.
Spam protection
The contact form uses hCaptcha to tell people from bots. hCaptcha processes information about your browser and device to do that, under its own privacy policy.
Who processes your data
- Our payment partner takes payments for Meshploy Cloud and may sell to you on our behalf.
- Our email provider delivers the service's emails and stores the inbox we answer you from.
- Web3Forms delivers contact form messages to our email. Their privacy policy
- hCaptcha protects the contact form from spam. Their privacy policy
- DigitalOcean hosts this website, and handles the technical data any web request carries, such as IP addresses. Their privacy policy
- Cloudflare is the network this website is delivered through, and sees the same request data. Their privacy policy
These services may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Your account and its spaces, for as long as you keep them. Deleting a space deletes its apps and data; deleting your account deletes your account data within 30 days, apart from what we must keep by law.
- Payment records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Contact form messages, for as long as the conversation needs, and no longer than two years after our last exchange.
- Visitor statistics hold no personal details and are kept as totals.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or take a copy with you, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@meshploy.com and we will reply within 30 days. These rights come from India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR, which also lets you complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Meshploy is meant for adults, developers and businesses, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. For a change that matters to how your data is used, we will email account holders before it applies.
