Who we are
Meshploy Cloud and meshploy.com are run by Meshploy, owned by Pritthish Nath, in India. "We" and "us" mean Meshploy; "you" means the person or organisation using Meshploy. Write to us at hello@meshploy.com.
These terms cover Meshploy Cloud: the account at app.meshploy.com and the spaces, apps and workspaces you create with it. The open-source software and Enterprise licences have terms of their own, described below.
Your account
- You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- Give a real email address and keep it working: we send sign-in links, notices and receipts to it.
- Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account and its agents' keys. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- If you create an account for an organisation, you confirm you may agree to these terms for it.
Using Meshploy
Use Meshploy for lawful purposes. You may not use it to:
- host or share anything illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- send spam, run phishing pages, or spread malware;
- attack, scan or overload other systems, or get around Meshploy's limits or security;
- mine cryptocurrency on shared servers, or use them in a way that harms other customers;
- resell the hosted service as your own without an agreement with us.
The people you share apps with are your responsibility; their use of your apps must follow these terms too.
Your apps and data
What you put on Meshploy stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run it for you: to store it, build it, run it and back it up as you ask. We do not look at your apps or their data except to keep the service working, to investigate abuse, or when the law requires it.
Keep your own copies of anything important. We back up the service, but backups of your apps' data are yours to set up, and Meshploy gives you the tools to do it.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page. We may change Free's limits; what you already run will keep running.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you buy, plus any tax that applies. They renew automatically until you cancel.
- Payments are taken by our payment partner, which may sell to you on our behalf and appear on your statement. We never see or store your full card details.
- If a payment fails, we will tell you and try again. If it still fails, the space may move to the Free plan's limits until it is paid.
- We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects a plan you pay for.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your account. A paid plan stays active to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
The service
We work to keep Meshploy Cloud available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or free of faults. Unless we agree a service level with you in writing, the service is provided as it is. We may change features as Meshploy improves; we will not remove something you pay for without telling you first.
Suspension and ending
- We may suspend a space that breaks these terms, harms others, or is not paid for. Unless the harm is urgent, we will tell you first and explain why; you can still sign in while a space is suspended.
- You can delete a space or your account at any time. Its apps and data are deleted with it and cannot be brought back; its address stays reserved for 30 days.
- We may end the service for an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we ever stop offering Meshploy Cloud, we will give you at least 60 days to move your apps.
Open source and Enterprise
The Meshploy software is open source under the Apache License 2.0; running it yourself is governed by that licence, not these terms. Enterprise licences for your own servers are covered by the licence agreement you sign with us.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute, without taking away any protection the law where you live gives you as a consumer.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. For a change that matters to how you use Meshploy, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies.
